The AD HERE Advertising Competition 2013 Final, co-organized by the College of International Education (CIE) of HKBU and the Nestle Hong Kong Limited, ended in rounds of applause on 11 April 2013. The champion of the competition is “Blank”, which is formed by 6 Associate Degree Year Two students.

To tie with the theme of “Strive for the Best Creativity”, participants were required to design a new and creative promotion campaign for the yogurt product of the Nestle. The organizing committee of AD HERE also decorated the College campus into a Creative Hero Base, gathering talented heroes to help the Nestle to tailor-make the best and most creative promotion strategy.

The final round of the competition took place in Shek Mun Campus, HKBU with the presence of honorable guests and judges including Ms. Colour Tse, Senior Brand Manager; Ms. Fenny Tsang, Assistant Brand Manager, Nestle Hong Kong Limited; and Dr. Sam Lau, Director of CIE.

Ms Colour Tse appreciated the College for providing this wonderful learning opportunity for students to put what they have learnt into practice. She also advised students to think out of the box while brainstorming ideas, and tried not to let the budget to limit their creativity in the first place.

The champion “Blank” felt very surprised and grateful for winning the competition. “We need to thank Lin Ka Yu, our team leader for creating the beautiful visual and animation, to visualize our idea. I would say this is the best presentation that we have ever had,” Pang Ho Yan member of “Blank” said.
