Managing Director,
Prince Foods Manufactory Limited
People are becoming more health-centric in recent years and they pay more attention to healthcare and weight issues. For this reason, health food products have grown to be a household staple, which naturally drives up the demand for talents in the management, marketing and customer services fields of the industry. CIE’s “Nutrition and Food Management” programme includes a number of areas of study, which span the continuum from food nutrition, food safety, disease prevention, management to marketing. The in-depth theories study and practical application taught in class will help students meet their own career objectives.
Knowledge of nutritional science allows students to design healthy eating diets for disease prevention. This programme which also emphasises quality management in food service sectors prepares graduates to pursue their study and career development in nutrition and food management fields. Graduates usually articulate to a Bachelor Degree Programme related to nutritional science, food safety and testing, health science or applied science subjects.
