Applicants may apply for more than one programme if they wish to. A non-refundable and non-transferable application fee will be charged for EACH applied programme.

Refund of Deposit and Balance

If a 2025 HKDSE applicant has accepted an offer from JUPAS for (i) a full-time UGC-funded undergraduate programme (programmes offered by Hong Kong Metropolitan University and the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts are not UGC-funded) or (ii) an undergraduate programme subsidised under Study Subsidy Scheme for Designated Professions / Sectors (SSSDP), the applicant can apply for refund before the designated deadline.

  • Refund of tuition fee deposit and balance is only applicable to HKDSE candidates of 2025 who:
    1. have accepted an offer from JUPAS for
      1. a full-time UGC-funded undergraduate programme or
      2. an undergraduate programme subsidised under Study Subsidy Scheme for Designated Professions / Sectors (SSSDP); and
    2. submit the application form for refund to the College of International Education with the following supporting documents.

  • Please submit the online application form for refund of deposit and balance to the College of International Education with the following supporting documents:
    1. Notice of offer or offer letter of
      1. the full-time UGC-funded undergraduate programme or
      2. the undergraduate programme subsidised under Study Subsidy Scheme for Designated Professions / Sectors (SSSDP)
    2. Proof of tuition fee payment of the undergraduate programme
    3. Payment proof of the tuition fee deposit and/or balance of the Associate Degree Programme offered by CIE
    4. Copy of bank account document (with name of account holder and account number).

  • Please submit the refund application on or before:
    1. 12:00 noon of 8 August 2025 (for applicants with JUPAS main round offer)
    2. 12:00 noon of 25 August 2025 (for applicants with JUPAS offer based on rechecking and remarking results)
    3. 12:00 noon of 28 August 2025 (for applicants with JUPAS clearing round offer)

  • Late applications or applications without the required documents will NOT be processed.

  • An administrative fee of HK$300 for refund application is non-refundable and non-transferrable. The administrative fee will be deducted from the eligible amount.

  • Please submit the online application form for refund of deposit and balance and the supporting documents to the College of International Education before the designated deadline.

Applicants can pay a NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-TRANSFERABLE application fee of HK$150 (for local applicants) or HK$300 (for non-local applicants) upon submission of your application via the following payment methods

Applicants can pay the tuition fee via the following payment methods. Tuition fees are NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-TRANSFERABLE.

Scholarships

In 2022/23, around 400 AD and UG students were awarded scholarships with a total of over HK$4.4 million offered by the College and the HKSAR Government.

Financial Assistance


Government Student Financial Assistance Scheme

Students can apply for the HKSAR Government’s Financial Assistance Scheme for Post-secondary Students, Non-means-tested Loan Scheme for Post-secondary Students and Continuing Education Fund.


Continuing Education Fund

The Government's Continuing Education Fund (CEF) subsidises students with learning aspirations to pursue continuing education and training. Some of the courses offered by the College have been included in the list of reimbursable courses for CEF purposes. Eligible applicants will be reimbursed up to a maximum sum of HK$20,000 (the percentage of fees to be borne by learners for the first HK$10,000 subsidy is 20% of the course fee and that for the second HK$10,000 subsidy is 40% of the course fee), on successful completion of a reimbursable course.
