At CIE, we learnt far more than from the textbooks. The programme consisted loads of group projects which helped to develop solid interpersonal skills. These learning experiences were vital for further study and career development. Other than that, the lecturers were friendly and patient who motivated us to learn.

During my time at CIE, I participated in a variety of experiential learning activities. Among which academic consultations helped me in both academic and career planning. One of the highlights of my participation in the Business Plan Competition, which inspired me to think creatively and apply my business knowledge to a mock project. I benefited from small class teaching, and student-teacher relationships were very close in CIE. We approached the lecturers whenever we encountered problems, and always received in-depth answers to our questions. Besides, participating in extra-curricular activities and competitions were useful to my future study and work. I was the chairperson of the CIE Investment Club, so with the guidance from the lecturer, I gained so much experiences and skills. For example, on how to organise large scale events, gain fellow students’ participation, and organise promotion. I could still apply these practical skills in my degree study.
