In order to have a better understanding of the real social life of the blind and visually impaired people, the filming crew had arranged a visit to the Hong Kong Society for the Blind before the video production. Sze Ho Ying, Director of the Video, said, “This is the second time of the crew to enter into an open competition. The award has given us great encouragement for creation and production. Through video and film, I hope there is a positive impact on the audiences which as a result will encourage them to express more love and concern to the people around.”

Tam Sau Ying, the Cameraman, said that her filming technique was acquired in the elective course “Multimedia Technology and Applications”. The lecturer’s work had inspired her on the direction of the video. The scriptwriter, Wong Chun Po, had his first trial in script writing by adding some drama elements into a documentary.

The competition was organized by Quality People Resource Limited, and co-organized by the Hong Kong Society for the Blind, Barrier Free Access (HK) Limited and the Hong Kong Society for the Deaf, with an aim to provide a platform for teenagers to collaborate with the disabled in bringing out the importance of creating a harmonious community.
