People are becoming more health-centric in recent years and they pay more attention to healthcare and weight issues. For this reason, health food products have grown to be a household staple, which naturally drives up the demand for talents in the management, marketing and customer services fields of the industry. CIE’s “Nutrition and Food Management” programme includes a number of areas of study, which span the continuum from food nutrition, food safety, disease prevention, management to marketing. The in-depth theories study and practical application taught in class will help students meet their own career objectives.

The understanding of nutritional science enables students to create diets that promote disease prevention. This programme, which also emphasises quality management in the food service industry, equips graduates to pursue further studies and career opportunities in the fields of nutrition and food management. Typically, graduates proceed to articulate into Bachelor's Degree Programmes that are related to subjects such as nutritional science, food safety and testing, health science, or applied science.
