
This programme aims to provide students with the up-to-date biotechnology theories and applications. Through a combination of classroom lecturing and experiential learning involving laboratory practicals, workshops and seminars, students will have the opportunity to develop their careers in biotechnology and pharmaceutical research and development. Graduates will be ready to work in various areas such as government sectors, pharmaceutical or cosmetic research institutes, accredited testing and medical laboratories, biotech enterprises and science education in schools. Additionally, graduates may choose to further their studies at local government-funded university undergraduate programmes related to biological science, biotechnology, or biomedical science.
