國際學院獎學金頒獎禮

The CIE Scholarship and Award Presentation Ceremony was held on 24 June 2013 with the attendance of over 250 students, parents, donors and lecturers.

The honourable guests of the Ceremony included Dr. Jonathan K.C. Choi, Chairman of China-HK English School (Zhongshan), Mr. Lam Kit Sing, Chairman, Chungshan Commercial Association Hong Kong, Mr. Duncan Ko, Director of China Aims Enterprises Limited, Dr. Lawrence Tsang, Associate Dean (CPE) and Head (Administration) of School of Continue Education, HKBU, Dr. Donald Chan, Head (Business and IT Studies) of School of Continue Education, HKBU and Dr. Sam Lau, Director of College of International Education, HKBU.

The College presented scholarships and awards offered by CIE and EDB’s Self-financing Post-secondary Scholarship Scheme. The College also took the opportunity to announce the results of the CIE Writing Contest and CIE Video Competition.

To encourage students to share their feelings and excitement of receiving the awards, a Sharing Session led by Mr. Raymond Chow, Guidance Counselor was arranged. Mr Yuen Hei Yin (Sport and Recreation Studies Year 1 student and player of Handball Associate of Hong Kong, China), awardee of Special Talent Award, shared how he struck a balance in both study and sports, hoping to encourage fellow students to get to their own target and never give up.
